Our 4M Vineyards consist of 4 distinct vineyard blocks situated on scenic, rolling hills with elevations ranging from 700 to 1,300 feet. The inherently steep terrain of calcareous shale, weathered granite and sandstone, coupled with hot summer days and nights cooled by breezes from the Estrella River, have created the ideal terrior for growing our Rhone varietals: Syrah, Petite Sirah and Viognier.

We started our vineyard operation in 2001 by planting 10 acres of 1-year old disease resistant vines. Our original intention was to sell our grapes to discriminating wine makers searching for fruit of the highest quality. After realizing the countless hours we spent personally tending to our vines- individual attention to pruning, fruit thinning and hand harvesting- we made the decision to take our grapes to the bottle; thus was the birth of Estrella Creek Wines

Estrella Creek is committed to offering premium, hand-crafted wines utilizing our estate grown Rhone-style grapes to create memorable wines with a distinctly Paso Robles influence.

Our inaugural vintage included 2 wines, our Estate Grown Syrah and Estate Grown Petite Sirah. Since then we've added an Estate Grown Viognier, Late Harvest Petite Sirah, Syrah Rose as well as 3 unique blends. Stargazer consists of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. Moondancer has a backbone of our estate grown Syrah, but the addition of Grenache brightens up the wine, adding a touch of strawberry to the nose and front palette. Eclipse is an all estate-grown blend of Syrah and Petite Sirah. Eclipse is a "shameless powerhouse" that will satisfy palettes searching for bold wines with an enduring finish.
